Freedom Weekend is all about helping students experience true freedom in Jesus - freedom from their past, freedom to embrace who God has created them to be, and freedom to step boldly into their destiny! Freedom Weekend 2025 will take place January 24-26.

Wednesday - January 22

4 p.m.        Student Check-In starts (Student Building Gym)
5:30 p.m.   Community Group Leader Training begins (Student Building Auditorium)
6:25 p.m.   Gather in Worship Center for instructions
6:30 p.m.   Worship in Pavilion
7:15 p.m.   FW Community Groups
8:15 p.m.   Dismissal home

Friday - January 24

5:30 p.m.    Leader bin & meal pickup
6:30 p.m.    Students arrive at host homes
7 p.m.         Leave host homes
7:30 p.m.    Worship service starts
9:30 p.m.    Worship service ends
9:45 p.m.    Leave for host homes
10 p.m.       Arrive at host homes
10:15 p.m.  Small Group 1
12 a.m.       Lights out

Saturday - January 25

7:30 a.m.    Wake up / clean up
8 a.m.         Eat breakfast
9 a.m.         Quiet time
9:30 a.m.    Small Group 2
10:30 a.m.  Get ready for afternoon activity

12 p.m.       Lunch

WHAT TO BRING   

What To Bring:

  • Bible, pen, and journal
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Blanket for the lawn
  • Bath towel and toiletry items
  • Clothes for 3 days (bring something you can get dirty for Late Night Activity)
  • Comfortable, close-toed shoes
  • Snacks to share with your group (due to allergies, do not bring anything that contains peanuts.)
  • A great attitude and expectations for a life-changing weekend!

What Not To Bring:

  • Electronics/video games
  • Energy drinks
  • Fireworks
  • Firearms
  • Alcohol, tobacco, or illegal substances

***Phones are allowed, but we encourage leaders to collect them during our Community Groups and worship services to help students get the most out of the weekend.
